Mr. Sufian Farrah / Meteorologist & Cloud Seeding Expert, NCM

Mr. Sufian Farrah works as Meteorologists and a Cloud Seeding Expoert at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has around 35 years of experience in different fields of meteorology, weather forecasting and atmospheric studies, and has participated in numerous researches and activities concerning a variety of atmosphere-related topics with prominent organizations, one of the most notable being the UAE2 Project, in which he collaborated with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on the unified aerosol experiment in the UAE.
He graduated in 1986 with honors, specializing in Meteorology at King Abdul-Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining NCMS in 2003, he worked for the Jordanian Air Force and the Jordanian Meteorology Department.
Mr. Sufian has been awarded a number of professional certificates from prestigious organizations, in recognition of his work and expertise in cloud seeding, flight science, weather predictions and radars. The most prominent of these organizations include the National Center of Atmospheric Research (NCAR), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the University of Witwatersrand.
