Alex Hirst / PhD Candidate, university of Colorado Boulder, USA

Alex Hirst received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2018. He is pursuing a Phd in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently funded by the Draper Scholars and Smead Scholars programs. His research focuses on high performance control of fixed wing sUAS in dynamic and uncertain environments, with applications to targeted atmospheric information gathering missions.
