                        This session will have presentations on the efforts made as part of field testing campaigns conducted as a collaboration effort between Khalifa University, SPEC Inc. and the National Center of Meteorology. The transitioning from laboratory to field scales will be discussed, in terms of the process followed, the challenges faced and the techniques in which they were overcome.

                  Determining Future Directions for Rain Enhancement Research

                    This open-format session brings together a room of experts in the fields of atmospheric science, hydrology, meteorology and weather modification, to discuss and determine the pathways to move forward in advancing the science of rain enhancement. Prior experiences will be shared based on outcomes of UAEREP projects, and the World Meteorological Organization Peer Review Report on Global Precipitation Enhancement Activities. The main challenges and knowledge gaps will be highlighted, in order to define the current and future research needs to address them.
